Richmond and Georgetown finished tied for third, five-stokes behind the leader. Cornell College and Yale are tied for fifth, six-strokes off the lead.
Matt Busa of Georgetown and Adam Webb of Longwood each shot a 70 to tie for the individual lead. Fielding Brewbaker and Joe Scheffres of James Madison, Keegan Bradley of St. John's, Sam Walenz of Army and Jordan Utley of Richmond are all tied for third, two-strokes off the lead, finishing even for the day.
Liberty stands tied for 17th place out of 20 teams after shooting a 316 in the first round. The Flames enter the final day of play 23-shots off the leader, St. John's.
The Flames were led by Parker McKoy who is tied for 29th with a 76. Stephen Hawk shot a 78 while Andrew Nelson shot an 80. Rounding out the Flame five was Jay Calvo and Josh Bain who both finished with an 80.
The two-day/36 hole tournament will conclude with the final 18 holes of competition on Sunday at the par-72, 6,761-yard Prospect Bay Country Club. Tee time will start at 8 a.m. with weather permitting.
