ACCEPTING YOUR LOANS, EASY AS 1-2-3
Accept your loan(s) and indicate your lender on your ASIST account.

Click the “Financial Aid” tab


Click the “Award” link


Click the “Award for Aid Year” link, select 2009-2010 from the drop down box and click submit


Click on the “Accept Award Offer” tab

Review and follow the instructions listed under the “Accepting your Loans, Easy as 1-2-3”

a. Review the loans offered on your account.
b. You have the option of “Accepting”, or “Declining” your loans in the “Accept Award” column. Mark each as you decide from the drop down menu. 
c. If you choose not to accept the full amount of the loan offered for the year, type in the amount you would like to accept for the year in the “Accept Partial Amount” column. (please be advised that any amount you reduce the loan by will reduce the year amount.)
d. Choose the lender that you will be completing your Master Promissory Note with from the drop down menu in the “Lender” column. If you do not see your lender, please indicate your lender in the comment box at the bottom of the page.

Once you have finished deciding on all information necessary for your offered loans, click on the “Submit Decision” button. The page will refresh and your changes will be reflected. A listing of “Outstanding Requirements” will appear.

e. Right click “your mouse click on open a new tab” on each of the links associated with your “Outstanding Requirements” and follow the instructions as indicated on the link. Once completed, click on Submit Information at the end of the page.

a. Click on Select and apply for your loan(s) on step 3. Your lender selection must match the lender you indicated in step 1.

b. Click on the blue “> Apply Now” link to the right of your lender choice, to complete the application (Master Promissory Note.)
c. Follow the instructions set forth by your lender. You will be required to sign your Master Promissory Note (MPN) once you have completed the application. This information will carry over to your account.
d. Once your loans are showing on your account, please complete Financial Check-in (FCI) in order to register for classes. For instructions on how to complete FCI, please click here
