Must have a valid GLTC bus pass to board; LU ID IS NOT accepted. Students can go to Card Services in Green Hall for a free bus pass, faculty & staff need to purchase a pass from GLTC.
Efective 9/12/2013 Route 75 to Camp Hydaway has been suspended until further notice.
On Thursday, Dec 5 there will be reduced bus service for both the on and off campus routes due to Reading Day. Routes 71 and 72 will operate at approximately 10 minute intervals from 7AM until 10PM, Route 73 will operate at approximately 15 minute intervals from 7AM until 10PM, Routes 74 and 4F will remain unchanged, Route 85 will operate at 45 minute intervals, and Route 86 will operate at 70 minute intervals. There will be NO Route 76 operating that day. All routes will begin at their normally scheduled times, and will finish at their normally scheduled times. The only changes will be in the frequency of the buses.
Liberty Transit Services will provide all night shuttle service on Thursday, Dec 5; Sunday, Dec 8; and Monday, Dec 9 for those wishing to study at the C-lab. There will be a bus stationed at the DeMoss Hall bus stop providing shuttles between the hours of 1-5:30AM when buses are not running their normally scheduled routes. Please be patient if the bus is not there as it will be providing shuttles to both on campus dorms as well as Annex I and II.
Liberty University Transit Services will cease normally scheduled bus service on Friday, Dec 13 at 8PM. Limited bus service will resume on Monday, Jan 6, 2014, and full bus service will resume on Saturday, Jan 11, 2014.
Liberty University Transit Services will operate an on demand shuttle service on Dec 14-15 as well as Jan 2-5 from 8AM until 8PM for students checking out of their housing assignments late in December or checking in to their housing assignments early in January. Transportation can be arranged by calling the Transit office at 434-592-3640. Only bus stops serviced on routes 71, 72, 73, and 74 will be available for this service.
