When I came to Liberty, I never imagined what God would do on this campus. As a student, I had the privilege of serving as a Resident Assistant and then on staff as a Resident Director. After this experience, I was hired as a Campus Pastor and have been privileged to be a part of fulfilling Dr. Jerry Falwell’s dream to “Train Champions for Christ” by working with LU Student Leadership. It is an amazing experience to train some of the top students at Liberty University and teach them to minister to, mentor and mobilize their peers.

The Office of Student Leadership prepares and trains the student leaders so they are equipped to do the work of the ministry and keep Liberty growing strong. It is my prayer that each student will have the opportunity to grow in their knowledge and understanding of God and develop a deeper relationship with our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ while at Liberty. Our team of almost 1,500 student leaders works together to ensure that EVERY student at Liberty University
is ministered to.

We key in on the word EVERY and have a leadership structure on each residence hall that facilitates this mission. We have a motto of 5 for 1 and 1 for 5. There are five student leaders and a floor for each student. There is also 1 small group leader for every five Liberty students.

I love serving the Lord here, where each and every day I get to play a part in changing the world for Christ.
