Residential Program

Liberty University Rawlings School of Divinity’s Master of Arts in Global Studies program is for men and women serving in cross-cultural contexts, whether that be within their own country or in other parts of the world. Courses address the biblical and theoretical basis for global involvement and provide a foundation in cross-cultural communication, diverse cultures and worldviews, world religions, contextualization, and current global trends.

This program is well-suited for cross-cultural service in many contexts.

Elective Options

The MA Global Studies includes three open elective courses.  These courses can be chosen from another discipline, or they can be used to complete a thesis.  Students choosing to complete a thesis would take RTCH 680, THES 689, and THES 690 as their elective courses.

Students should contact the program director at as soon as they enroll in the program to begin discussing their internship and/or thesis goals.
