Liberty Godparent Home Baby Bottle Campaign

by Emily Defosse

Liberty Baptist Theological Seminary (LBTS) is continuing the Godparent Home’s Baby Bottle Campaign from earlier this semester.

LBTS Dean Ergun Caner’s administrative assistant, Laverne Smith said that the Godparent Home is one of the seminary’s officially adopted causes.

“The Godparent Home serves as a positive answer to girls ... both mother and child benefit from the ministry,” Smith said.
Bottles are located in the seminary reception area and can be picked up and filled until Nov. 14.

“(The fundraising) will culminate on Nov. 14 at the second annual Turkey Bowl, the seminary versus law school touch football game,” Smith said.

Tickets to the Turkey Bowl will be two dollars a person. All proceeds will benefit the Godparent Home.
