Aquatic Center

The Aquatic Center located in the LaHaye Recreation & Fitness Center provides a 25 yard, six lane swimming pool with a maximum depth of 12 feet for lap swimming and recreational use. The aquatic facility also includes 2 spas, a 1 meter diving board, and accessibility to water polo equipment. Aquatic equipment such as training fins, training paddles, flexible kickboards, jogger weight belts, hand bar exercisers, pull buoys, and 3 pull up bars at a variation of different heights are accessible for use. The Aquatic Center hosts a variation of athletic practices & events which include the Liberty University Women's Collegiate Swim Team, Liberty Christian Academy's Boys & Girls Swim Team, Kinesiology Department classes, scuba classes, internal & external camps, and daily recreational use. The Aquatic Center recently upgraded the competition pool technology and added an AquaFine/Pureflow Ultra Violet (UV) system to eliminate chloramine levels, making it safer for all athletic and recreational swimmers. In addition to the Aquatic Center, LaHaye Student Union also oversees a seasonal outdoor pool located at Campus East Clubhouse.
