Due to the “back country” type race course that has been professionally designed on the 5,000+ acres that comprise Liberty Mountain (a.k.a. Candler’s Mountain), and the close to 150 racers expected to compete in this race, the Assault will most likely become one of the most popular races in the Virginia DeRailer Racing Series for years to come.

The race set up will be a “looping” style with a distance of approximately 19 miles. The course is comprised of roughly 85% single track trail while fire/gravel roads and ATV trails, which make up the remaining 15%, connect it all together.

Blue Ridge Outdoors magazine will be in attendance with freebies, goodies, and raffles.

Check out their website for more information.
