Boschman named All-American

June 8, 2012  |  Lynchburg, VA

Liberty University D1 hockey forward Brent Boschman was named a second team all-American by the American Collegiate Hockey Association on Wednesday.

Boschman, a junior from Ottawa, Ontario, led Liberty in points this past season with 65 and finished second on the team in goals with 25.

"We're super excited for Brent," said head coach Kirk Handy. "He was very consistent and being named forward of the year and team MVP proves his value to the team as well."

Boschman is the sixth Liberty player to earn all-American recognition, and the first since the 2009-10 season when Dave Semenyna and Kyle Dodgson both were named first team all-Americans.
