Racquetball teams second in final MACRC overall standings

Liberty University's men's and women's racquetball teams, led by USA Racquetball Collegiate Coach of the Year Danny Rodriguez, finished runner-up to North Carolina in the final Mid-Atlantic Collegiate Racquetball Conference (MACRC) combined team standings, which included 10 college and university programs from Virginia, North Carolina, and South Carolina.
The Flames and Lady Flames totaled 5,172 team points for placing second in all four MACRC regular-season tournaments to the Tar Heels (7,214 total points).
Lady Flames senior Sadie Abramowicz was the top individual points winner among MACRC women with 660 points, earning the title of Top Female Player for the second time in her career after receiving that honor as a freshman. Senior Caroline Morse (seventh, 362 points), sophomore Danielle Pearson (ninth, 287 points), and junior Lindsey Marston (10th, 260 points) also finished in the top 10 to lead Liberty to a second-place team total with 2,823 points behind the Tar Heels (3,469).
Senior Daniel Siebler placed ninth among men with 358 points to pace the Flames to a fourth-place team finish in scoring with 2,349 points, behind UNC (3,745), North Carolina State (3,283), and Virginia (2,707).
