Liberty sweeps pool play at NC State

The Liberty University men's volleyball team swept pool play during a tournament at North Carolina State on Saturday.
The Flames defeated the University of North Carolina in straight sets, 25-19 and 25-18. Derek Abildness had six kills for Liberty in the match.
Liberty continued its pool play against Campbell College, winning again in two sets, 25-23 and 25-15.
With a No. 1 seed in tournament play, Liberty faced the USAVB team from Charlotte, N.C., and lost a closely contested match in straight sets, 23-25 and 20-25.
