Liberty University freshman Tori Perkins placed fourth in Friday's finals of the female juniors lead division at the International Federation of Sport Climbing (IFSC) Youth World Championships in Innsbruck, Austria. After qualifying for finals out of 59 competitors in the preliminaries, she entered as the No. 3 seed behind fellow Team USA member Claire Buhfeind, the eventual winner.

"I had a wonderful time and a great experience," said Perkins, who was one of 10 members of Team Stone Summit based out of Atlanta to compete in the event. She returned to Liberty on Monday to resume her studies through the School of Nursing.

Perkins and her Lady Flames teammates will make their Club Sports season debut this Saturday in North Raleigh, N.C., at a bouldering local competition hosted by the Triangle Rock Club.
