November 9, 2012  |  Lynchburg, Va.

The Lady Flames Division II hockey team is still in search of its first win this season, after being outscored 16-6 in its first four games.

Lady Flames' goalie Leanne Niemi is the top goalie in the Delaware Valley Collegiate Hockey Conference for saves and boasts a .910 save percentage.

Rena Leone and Abby Wallace lead Liberty's squad with three points each on the season, Wallace with three goals and Leone with two goals and an assist.

Liberty opened the season Oct. 20 with a 4-3 loss on the road to American University and a 3-2 loss at Navy the next day.

Maryland beat the Lady Flames 4-0 to conclude three-straight on the road for Liberty.

At home last Saturday, Liberty fell 5-1 to Slippery Rock University.

The Lady Flames will look to find the winning stride this weekend as Liberty travels for the last time in 2012, first to West Chester University for an 8 p.m. matchup followed shortly by a 9:30 a.m. matchup against nearby Villanova.
