Jesse Wilson is the head coach and instructor of the Liberty University Taekwondo Team.  Jesse obtained his black belt in 1987 from 9th Dan Grandmaster Ju Hun Kim of the Kim School of TaeKwonDo and former Korean national champion.  He has competed in hundreds of tournaments both regionally and nationally and was ranked #5 in the southeast region by Black Belt Magazine in 1989 at the age of 17.  Jesse is a certified taekwondo coach by USA Taekwondo, the official governing body of the U.S. Olympic Committee.  Jesse also served in the U.S. Army as a member of the 10th Special Forces Group(A), has been a police officer since 1988 and a former member of the Danville, VA Police Dept. SWAT Team.  Jesse is a graduate of Liberty University and holds a B.S. in Criminal Justice and a member of the Alpha Phi Sigma National Criminal Justice Honor Society.
