Mike is returning for his fifth season as an assistant & goalie coach with Liberty.  He works closely with the goalies throughout the Liberty hockey system (men’s and women’s) and assists with the division 1-team forwards during games.  In addition to Liberty, Mike has also served as a goalie coach for Teen Ranch Canada, Hockey Ministries International and for the Lynchburg Youth Hockey League. His professional experiences include playing for Vimpel Mezhdurechensk in Russia's 3rd division in 2009, Tulsa Oilers evaluation camp where he earned a position to main camp in 2009 and an invitation to rookie camp for the Florida Panthers in 2006. He played four years in the ACHA and was selected as a 1st Team All-American, 1st Team All National Tournament, ACHA All-Star, Liberty Hockey Team MVP, and Player of the year finalist in the 2007-2008 season.  Mike was a finalist for the 1st Team All-American and awarded with team MVP honours in 2006-2007.  Prior to Liberty, Mike played for the Brampton Capitals in the Ontario Junior Hockey League at the tier II level. Mike has a passion to see hockey players come to know Christ at Liberty.  He and his wife Jenna live in Lynchburg Virginia.
