Coach Lowes (Peterborough, Ontario) played four seasons for the Flames (1998-2002) while obtaining his degree from Liberty. Currently entering his 6th season as the Head Coach of the Men’s Division II program, Coach Lowes has see the team make great strides in the American Collegiate Hockey Association (ACHA).
Liberty has quickly become a contender in the ACHA Southeast Division. Coach Lowes has led the team to winning seasons each of his years behind the bench including berths to the SE Division Regional Tournament each of the past 4 years.
Coach Lowes and his wife Lisa have been married for 9 years and currently reside in the Lynchburg area. They welcomed a baby girl, Peyton, to their family in January, 2011.
