Ryan Culkin is the Assistant Coach for Men's Volleyball and assists the team to nationals by overseeing the middle hitters. Culkin also helps with recruiting athletes for the team.

During his undergrad, Ryan played football from 2007 to 2009 playing a tight end position. Culkin also played on the beach volleyball team for two years as a graduate student where he went to nationals in California with teammate Mike Morrison. Culkin was on the indoor Men's Volleyball team as a middle hitter while he was in grad school as well. Culkin gradated in 2010 and received a Bachelor of Science in Psychology and In 2014, Culkin received a Masters Degree in Professional Counseling.

Ryan and his wife attend Redeemer Presbyterian Church. Culkin works as a local counselor with children and adolescents. His hobbies include hiking with his wife, snowboarding, playing volleyball,and watching his brother play football for the University of Missouri.
