Johnathan Willis is the assistant volleyball coach for the Liberty Flames women’s program. He spent the last seven seasons (2007-13) as head volleyball coach at Randolph College in Lynchburg. In 2013, Willis' WildCats went 12-11, good for the program's first winning record since the 1997 campaign.
Johnathan also spent six seasons, 2006-11, as head coach of Liberty's club men's volleyball program. The team went 20-8 in 2006-07, placing second in the EIVA Southern Conference. His team also earned a third-place finish at the NCVF National Championships in 2010. Willis graduated from Liberty with a Bachelor of Science degree in 2006. He then earned a Master of Arts in human services, also from Liberty, in 2007. He and Rachel are married with three young children, Aubriana, Asher, and Ace.
