Jeremy Beale wins SVU Turkey Bowl, Liberty finishes second

Sophomore Jeremy Beale won first place in the 125-pound weight class at the SVU Turkey Bowl Dec. 8.
Sophomore Jeremy Beale won first place (125 lbs.) and the Liberty Flames wrestling team took second place overall at the Southern Virginia University Turkey Bowl in Buena Vista, Va., Dec. 8.
Liberty's David Lee was runner-up in the 133-pound weight class and Brice Bahhur took second in the 285-pound class.
Two Flames finished third in their respective weight classes, Alex Cox (174 lbs.) and Collin Quarles (197 lbs.).
Liberty will compete next in the Citrus Classic Invitational in Fort Lauderdale, Fla., Dec. 28 beginning at 9 a.m.
