I grew up in South Africa and was exposed to rowing there at my high school who were national champions.I helped start the team here at Liberty alongside Mark Furler and have had a blast doing it! I worked with the Liberty Men's team as a coxswain (little person who's in charge) on their 8 man and 4 man boats. I worked with those men in many areas helping them to develop their rowing and we had podium finishes in many races over the years (a little metal in your pocket is never bad!). I've spent 3 years racing with the guys and occasionally helping out with the women's side and now its time to pass the baton on to the next generation of Liberty rowers. I'm more than exstatic to be helping out this year on the coaching team!
