Liberty has several industry-focused Centers that are meeting the needs of the most in-demand and growing fields in the world. By partnering with our Centers, you can advance your own business interests while helping Liberty train champions in these high-demand occupations.
Center for Engineering Research & Education (CERE) researches energy generation, storage, transmission and control, and the cyber protection of the nation’s critical infrastructure. This industry-focused research facility provides students with real-world learning and job opportunities as they work alongside industry partners to solve applied research needs. CERE is also home to a number of engineering labs open for business and industry use.
Center for Autonomous Systems and Machines (CASM) researches practical solutions for real-world problems using autonomous systems. The primary research platform of the center is unmanned aircraft, with many industry partnerships already in place, such as Textron Systems. Over the past three years, CASM has grown rapidly and earned international recognition for both the training of system operators and maintenance personnel.
Center for Cyber Excellence focuses on establishing Liberty as the premier location for cybersecurity study, research, and hiring. With more than 300,000 current job openings in the cybersecurity field, Liberty is focused on training the next generation of cybersecurity experts that have the ethical and moral character sought by employers and required to protect the confidentiality, integrity, and privacy of sensitive data.
