The campus was filled with life, laughter, and new memories this past weekend, and not even the Friday rain was able to dampen the school spirit as over 6,000 people came back to campus to celebrate Homecoming Weekend 2014. From the hay ride tours to the Guy Penrod concert, there were many exciting events for people of all ages to enjoy. One of the highlights of the weekend was the free carnival where families were able to enjoy the many rides, activities, music, and food vendors that were available there. To wrap up the weekend, the Liberty Flames football team took on the Richmond Spiders. The game was taken into double overtime, and although it ended in a loss for Liberty, Williams Stadium was full with a record crowd cheering on the Flames to the very end.
The Liberty University Alumni Relations Office would like to thank everyone who was able to come back to campus to be a part of this year’s Homecoming Weekend. We hope to see you next year!
