Through Liberty University's Master of Science in Psychology program, you will learn research skills to solve real-world problems related to behavior and mental processes, add knowledge to the social scientific community, and glorify God in the process. You will graduate ready to integrate Christian faith with psychological science.



  • $50.00 application fee (beginning Fall 2016, the application fee will be deferred and assessed during Financial Check-In)
  • Regionally or nationally accredited Bachelor’s degree with at least a 3.0 GPA for admission in good standing (2.75 to 2.99 admission on a cautionary basis)
    • Official College Transcripts (must be mailed directly from your college to Liberty University in an official, sealed envelope or sent via an official electronic sending service such as E-Script, Parchment, National Clearinghouse, etc.)

    • If you would like for Liberty University to request that your college transcripts be submitted and do not have a current balance at your university, please complete the Transcript Request Form (for domestic students only).
  • Recommender Contact Information for 2 academic and/or professional sources (complete through provided link)
  • Official GRE Test Scores (Not required for with an undergraduate GPA greater than 3.0). Must be within 5 years.
    • GRE: Current GRE, 151 Verbal Reasoning, 152 Quantitative Reasoning, 3.5 Analytical Writing.
    • Scores of 149-150 Verbal, 150-151 Quantitative may be admitted on caution.
  • Current Liberty undergraduate students seeking preliminary acceptance into a graduate program must complete a Graduation Application through their ASIST Account.
  • Undergraduate prerequisites (can be taken after admission):
    • 12 credit hours in psychology which must include general psychology, statistics, research methods, and one additional psychology course
  • Self-Certification Form (for students in the final term of their bachelor's degree)
  • Additional admission requirements for international students
