Receive training for full-time Christian ministry, theological education, or ministry in the local church. With a Master of Arts in Christian Apologetics degree from the Rawlings School of Divinity, you’ll experience focused study in biblical, philosophical, and historical apologetics as well as grow in understanding the central elements of the Christian faith and today’s questions.

Learn how to articulate defend Christianity’s truth-claims as you study the Scriptures and the essential truths of the Christian message.

You’ll also receive the values, knowledge and skills you need to effectively engage in a variety of ministry-related roles. The Master of Arts in Christian Apologetics degree is appropriate for an entry level and general professional degree in religion.

Requirements

  • $50 application fee (beginning Fall 2016, the application fee will be deferred and assessed during Financial Check-In)
  • Regionally or nationally accredited Bachelor’s degree with at least a 2.5 GPA for admission (2.0 to 2.49 may be admitted on caution)
    • Official College Transcripts (must be mailed directly from your college to Liberty University in an official, sealed envelope or sent via an official electronic sending service such as E-Script, Parchment, National Clearinghouse, etc.)

    • If you would like for Liberty University to request that your college transcripts be submitted and do not have a current balance at your university, please complete the Transcript Request Form (for domestic students only).
  • Self-Certification Form (for students in the final term of their bachelor's degree)
  • Rawlings School of Divinity Questionnaire
  • Pastoral Recommender Contact Information (complete through provided link)
  • Current Liberty undergraduate students seeking preliminary acceptance into a graduate program must complete a Graduation Application through their ASIST Account.
