If your student is a graduating senior, their focus is undoubtedly on their future career. Liberty University's Career Center provides valuable job-seeking services, including critiquing your student's résumé before it is submitted to a potential employer. We offer this service for free to both current students and alumni.
Students may submit a copy of their résumé to www.Liberty.edu/CareerCenter through the “Résumé Critique” link provided. One of our experienced counselors will review the résumé and get it back to your student within a week. Your student is also welcome to make an appointment to meet with a counselor one-on-one or request walk-in résumé assistance on Wednesdays and Thursdays from 1-3 p.m. Don’t feel like your student’s résumé is quite ready to be critiqued? The Career Center offers online resources to help students construct a professional résumé. In the “Résumé Assistance” portion of our website, there is a list of sample résumés and cover letters, as well as a résumé video workshop to help them get started.
The Career Center is open Monday-Friday, 8 a.m.-5 p.m. in DeMoss Hall Room 1007. For more information about our services, email careers@liberty.edu or call us at (434) 592-4109. Let us help your student plan for their future. |
