International Students Readmission

Former students are welcome to re-apply to Liberty University. Readmission requires the following items to be submitted:

  1. Application for readmission

  2. Affidavit of Financial Support (tuition costs)

  3. Official transcripts of all schools attended since enrollment at Liberty

  4. Transfer Eligibility Form completed by the most recent school attended

  5. Transfer of SEVIS record

  6. Copy of most recent SEVIS I-20

  7. Copy of most recent I-94

Arrival at Liberty

Students should plan to arrive as close to Wednesday, January 17, 2018 as possible.

Early Arrival Information for Students Living On Campus

Students living in campus housing who arrive prior to January 17, 2018 may stay in campus housing at a cost of $15/day (with approval from, however,  regular food service is available starting with lunch, January 18, 2018. (Meals are at your own expense prior to January 18, 2018) Local restaurants are also available, at which students may pay and eat.

If you arrive on campus before January 17, 2018 please report to the Office of International Student Services (DeMoss Hall, Room 2003 Main Campus), which is open from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm Monday through Friday (434) 592-4118.

Undergraduate Student Orientation and Federal Regulation Session (Mandatory)

  • Thursday January 18, 2018
  • Location: DEMOSS HALL Grand Lobby
  • When: 8:00 am to 3:00 pm  (Breakfast and lunch will be provided)
  • Required Items: Travel Documents (passport, I-20 and I-94, received at port of entry)

What to Bring with you to Liberty University (Extremely important!)

Travel Documents:

  • Passport
  • I-20
  • I-94

Contact phone numbers for your Admissions Counselor and Pick-up Coordinator (if arriving by plane, train, or bus).

Medical Records:  All immunizations and tests indicated on the Online Health Form must be completed prior to arrival on campus. Students without an approved health form and the required immunizations and tests may be refused campus housing and class registration. Complete the Online Health Form before you travel (go to your ASIST account and click "General Information") and bring your medical records with you.

Travel Arrangements to Lynchburg, VA

We are happy to pick up first-time students from the Lynchburg Regional Airport, the Lynchburg Bus Station, and the Lynchburg Train Station and Roanoke Regional Airport.

To ensure transportation is available, it is important to follow these guidelines:

  • If you need transportation to campus from the airport (Roanoke or Lynchburg), train or bus station, you must complete the online registration form (there is no fee for new international students)
  • If you are unsure of their arrival time or your arrival time has changed, contact Liberty University at (434) 592-3640 as soon as you know the arrival time of your bus, train, or shuttle (before 10:30 p.m. of that day)
