Law students are required to complete all admissions requirements for the School of Law. Please see the School of Law for those requirements. International students must also fulfill international requirements necessary to receive an I-20.
Admission requirements for international applicants to the Law School will vary depending on applicant’s native language, where the applicant is currently residing, and whether or not the applicant is currently attending another school in the U.S.
International students must apply early for the year in which they would like to enroll. Intake to the Law School occurs in the fall semester only. Admission deadlines and basic requirements are established by the School of Law. Below are additional requirements specific to international applicants.
After being admitted to Liberty University School of Law, the next step is to apply for a Student Visa at the U.S. Consulate in their home country. This procedure, including any waiting time for a visa appointment, could take several weeks or months.

Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL): Submit TOEFL score report if English is not the native language. (A TOEFL score of 650 PBT/280 CBT is required for law students). The University institutional code for the TOEFL is 5385.
Family Information Form if you are bringing family members with you as dependents, this form must be completed.
