A graduate-level writing class and online writing assessment are integral components of your graduate studies here at Liberty University. Once you have completed registration for your courses, you will automatically be enrolled in GRST 500 (the graduate-level writing class), and it will show on your class schedule within four business days.
You have the opportunity to test out of GRST 500 by passing an online writing assessment. Before the beginning of the semester, your instructor will post an announcement on Blackboard with instructions on how to complete this assessment.

NOTE: Please be aware that a $100 test assessment fee is charged to your student account as a new student whether you complete GRST 500 or take and pass the online assessment.

Federal Regulations Orientation (Required)
International orientation will provide vital information about remaining in status, working before and after graduation, obtaining a Social Security number and Virginia driver’s license, income taxes, insurance, family members, and other subjects. This session is required for all students on F-1 status.
