Military Events

Liberty University is committed to serve our military student population in achieving their educational goals as well as providing an atmosphere of camaraderie and support for other unique needs. There are several upcoming events that we invite you to be a part of whether you are a current service member, veteran, military spouse or military dependent.

Military Appreciation Days - Online Communities

The Office of Military Affairs would like to invite you to Military Appreciation Days. This event is a compilation of guest military speakers and will stream online by video, for 24 hours. You will have the privilege of listening to speakers like Evangelist and retired Marine Tim Lee, Lieutenant General Jerry Boykin and Major and Chaplain Jeff Struecker. Informative topics will include PTS and unique challenges faced by military couples and families. 

 

Spouse’s Brunch

Liberty University and the Office of Military Affairs are honored to host a military spouse brunch early this fall at the Hancock Welcome Center. Complimentary brunch will be served along with fellowship with other spouses and a message from Mrs. Carol Godwin.

 

Military Family Fun Day

Liberty University and the Office of Military Affairs are honored to host a Military Family Fun Day for all of our military students, veterans, and their families. Come enjoy a day of tubing, skiing, and fellowship with others who have served. There will also be special activities for the kids. 

 

Military Emphasis Week (November 2-9)

Liberty University and the Office of Military Affairs are honored to host Military Emphasis Week.  As we get closer to November we will be providing more details but here is a sneak peak on what to expect this year:

  • Liberty Flames VS. VMI – Military appreciation football game
  • Candlelight Memorial Service
  • PTS seminar
  • Educate the Educators seminar
  • Military Convocation
  • Veterans Appreciation Luncheon
  • VIP panel
  • Valley View 5 Miler
