August 21, 2013 : Liberty University News Service

Liberty University recently partnered with Atomic Learning, an award-winning provider of online technology training and support, to provide all faculty, staff, alumni, and students 24/7 access to nearly 50,000 step-by-step tutorials on more than 205 software applications, as well as topics ranging from APA and MLA writing formats to blogging and online discussions.

The video tutorials range from professional programs such as Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), Blackboard, and Adobe CS6, to personal interests such as iOS, Garage Band, YouTube, Twitter, and more.

“In an academic environment with increasing investment in and dependence upon technology, we saw a need to ensure all university stakeholders had the ability to maximize the technology resources available to them,” said Tom Hinkley, manager of business and strategic relationships.

“Our partnership with Atomic Learning seeks to provide students, faculty, staff, and alumni with high-quality training hopefully to add value both to individuals and the university as a whole.”
