Resident Admissions at Liberty University has announced its third Priority Program winner of a one-year, full-tuition scholarship for the 2010-11 academic year.
Sarah Kim of Cresskill, N.J., was presented a check for $16,792 while attending Liberty’s College For A Weekend, held April 8-11.
Sarah is a senior at New Jersey United Christian Academy in Cream Ridge, N.J. She plans on studying Youth Ministries at LU this fall and hopes to become a missionary and teacher in India or North Korea.
Hosted by the Admissions Office, the Priority Program is a way for students who exercise due diligence in the admissions process to secure a place in the fall 2010 incoming class. Students who meet certain criteria and deadlines are eligible for the scholarship drawings. Kim completed the third step in Liberty’s admissions process by the April 1 deadline, making her eligible for the third round of drawings.
The admission process at Liberty includes the necessary steps for enrollment – the Four A’s of Admissions: Apply, Accept, ASIST, Attend. The last Priority Program deadline (Attend) is May 1.
