The Liberty Center for Church Planting is directed by Dr. Dave Earley and associate director Dr. David Wheeler professor of Evangelism. Evangelism is a primary emphasis. Every faculty member and student is expected to manifest a concern for lost souls and to be a soul winner according to the gifts God has given him.
Church planting and church growth are major emphases at Liberty. Not only is church expansion a Biblical mandate, it is a science at LBTS.
Practical learning-by-doing is a part of every student’s life. Students not only hear about ministries which will work, they are involved in highly successful ministries which are producing impressive results.
VISION:
To help Liberty become a national leader in the recruitment, training and sending of effective 21st century church planters and church planting teams. To send a steady stream of high probability, high potency church planters from Liberty University, Liberty Baptist Theological Seminary, Liberty Baptist Fellowship, and Thomas Road Baptist Church. To help churches at any stage become church multiplication centers.
