Lutheran Hour Documentary with Randall Price Wins Bronze Telly Award for "The Bible on Trial"
The Center for Judaic Studies is a resource center that provides the means for students preparing for academic teaching, Christian ministry or service to gain a biblical perspective of the Jewish people and helps equip the Church in making a biblical response to the Jewish community and the modern State of Israel.
This purpose is carried out through academic courses offered at the undergraduate and graduate levels, research projects that support and strengthen the University’s commitment to a biblical worldview, as well as campus and community education through invited lectures.
The academic programs of the Center for Judaic Studies are a part of Liberty School of Religion.

The Authentic Last Supper Exhibit - Now Open!
Our new exhibit is opening just in time for the Passover/Easter season that focuses on the events of the final hours of Jesus' life and His message to His disciples and us all. The Authentic Last Supper exhibit features a restored Upper Room complete with a Roman-Judean triclinium table set with the type of vessels that would have been at the original Last Supper. Details »

An onsite study of the history, archaeology, geography, religion and culture of ancient and modern Israel through an extensive tour throughout the Land of Israel. We will visit Jerusalem, Coastal Plain, Galilee, Jordan Valley, Jordan Dessert, Timna Park, Eilat, Petra (Jordan) and Bethlehem. SPRING 2013 - Messianic Prophecy (3 cr.)
BIBL 432-001 / THEO 497-001
An exegetical study of the Old Testament prophecies concerning Messiah and their fulfillment in the New Testament. The course will also interact with standard Jewish objections relating to Jesus’ messianic claims and examine ancient and modern Rabbinic interpretations of selected messianic prophecies. Key Old Testament passages will be examined along with their New Testament fulfillment. Details »

Available for viewing 24/7 at the Center's window display (DeMoss Hallway 1134).
The Temple and priesthood fill the pages of both the Old and New Testaments and are essential to an understanding of the history of Israel and the life of Jesus and the worship of the early Jewish-Christian church.
