LU Praise is a 25-member gospel concert choir that serves as an official representative team for Liberty University's Center for Music and Worship. The group performs various styles of music used in the African-American choral tradition, including but not limited to: Black Gospel, Gospel Song, Spirituals, Hymns, Scripture Song and Sacred Classic.

The Worship Orchestra is an instrumental ensemble which allows students the opportunity to collaborate with choral ensembles to produce various types of worship music. They are an instrumental ensemble providing students opportunity to experience the various styles of music used in the instrumental program of a large worship ministry including Black Gospel, traditional gospel, worship and praise, sacred classic, Southern Gospel and more. The group meets in the fall and spring semesters and will work together with the choral ensembles for various worship programs.
This team is comprised of six vocalists, a rhythm section as well as a horn line. The group assists in leading worship during events such as the Center for Worship Ministry Chapel as well as special student events.
Under the direction of Mr. John Kinchen, Assistant Chairman for the Department of Worship and Music Studies, the CFW House Band began in the Fall 2008 semester with six vocalists and a rhythm section.
Added to these elements, the group also has a horn line which helps utilize a variety of musical stylings in the contemporary setting. The group helps to lead worship during events such as Center for Worship Ministry Chapel, special student events and FUSION: United in Worship.
