CSER 383-001 – IT HelpDesk
Supervisor:
Bradley Day (592-6562 or Email)
Students who sign up to complete a CSER with the IT HelpDesk will primarily be working during our annual HelpDesk Blitz event to assist new incoming students with technical problems and questions during the beginning of the semester. The IT HelpDesk needs volunteers who can do one or more of the following:  greet customers, perform data entry and miscellaneous office tasks, answer technical and non-technical questions, walk customers through a list of steps to connect their computers to Liberty’s network, and perform computer repairs. While students from technology-related majors are encouraged to sign up for this CSER, students from any major are welcome. Students working with the HelpDesk for CSER credit can expect to finish their work within the first few weeks of the semester.

Supervisor: Nawona Nhekairo (592-7554 or Email)

The IT Service Fair is Liberty’s biggest technology event of the year. At this event, we will be bringing the technology companies that service LU on campus in order to expose the Liberty community to current and new technologies that enhance their educational experience. We are looking for CSER students to assist us on the day of the event as well as the days before/after in order to help us with manning booths, directing traffic, guerilla marketing before & during the event, as well as with social media promotion. Students will be fed breakfast & lunch the day of the event.

CSER 385-001: LU ONLINE ENGAGEMENT
Supervisor: Will Scheren (
Email)
Online Communities began April 16, 2012 out of a need to engage online students with spiritual events and other events of the university.  We use live chat moderators to engage students during live and recorded Convocation and Campus Church events as well as other streaming events.  We endeavor to engage online students through live chat, prayer requests, Bible study/blog and web banners that link to campus events or services.
