We are dedicated to identifying, developing and implementing elite sports and education related programs and projects designed to help youth meet their athletic aspirations, maximize their full personal and academic potential and function successfully in their homes, schools, colleges, community, churches and sports programs. With this mission comes a variety of volunteer opportunities to serve local youth ages 5-18.

Education, tutoring and mentoring:

Books and Ball Program Tutors and Mentors-With a history of assisting over 100 high school student athletes in obtaining college scholarship through our Houston, Texas, site, we offer this exciting opportunity to carry on this proud legacy in Lynchburg by volunteering for our Books and Ball Program. Books and Ball is open to all area high school athletes and provides student athletes with tutoring and assistance with the college recruiting process. We need your help to ensure that any high school athlete who is offered an athletic scholarship to attend college also has the resources needed to remain academically eligible. Volunteers will assist with tutoring, mentoring and teaching organization and study skills to students in a Christian environment. Education majors are encouraged to participate to gain experience, and recommendation letters will be written on behalf of volunteers if requested.
