The Liberty University School of Business offers a variety of student-led organizations, both co-curricular and extra-curricular. These student groups are not only a way for students to form relationships with their peers and put their classroom knowledge to use, but also for them to have the opportunity to learn from professionals in their career field and network.
These professionally minded clubs feature activities and events including guest speakers, industry days and career treks. Many of these organizations are also chapters of global organizations allowing students to transition from college-based organizations to full-on professional status.

The Accounting Society was designed to bring together students for opportunities to hear from upper-classmen about their experiences, to participate in social activities, hear presentations from local professionals and most importantly the chance to network with prospective employers. The LU chapter of the society will not only keep students informed of the recent happenings in accounting news but also of how students can incorporate their faith with their profession.

The mission of the International Business Council is to create an environment in which students can become a cohesive group through educational, social, community and professional activities; develop greater multicultural appreciation; and, expand their awareness of career-related opportunities. Students will have opportunities to network with each other across national boundaries and to develop contacts with professional organizations and commercial enterprises. Student members will also have the opportunity to improve their leadership skills through involvement in elective offices.

The Financial Management Association (FMA) is an official student club affiliated with the Financial Management Association International. FMA offers its members the opportunity for personal and professional growth through leadership, career development, and social networking. The local leadership team organizes regular meetings with local finance professionals in order to give FMA members exposure to a number of potential career fields in the finance arena (e.g., corporate finance, fixed-income securities, equities, wealth management, banking, etc.). The leadership team organizes tours of local manufacturing operations to give life to the practical lessons learned in the classroom. Additionally, the club runs investment simulation contests (with cash prizes) in the fall and spring terms, that are only open to its members. FMA is the perfect place for finance students to meet other students who share the same interests and passions. In order to become a member, apply today. Association of Marketing Professionals (AMP) is affiliated with the American Marketing Association and serves as a networking opportunity for students who have an interest in pursuing a sales or marketing career. Members of the Liberty University AMP have participated at the national level of the AMA Collegiate Case Competition for three consecutive years (2009-2011), placing in the final four chapters in 2010 and 2011. Each year, the chapter invites successful alumni to participate on a panel to share their work experiences and share with students the attributes the managers seek in job applicants. In addition, we sponsor guest speakers and enjoy social events like picnics and dinners. We also participate in sales/marketing-related activities on behalf of non-profits and to raise funds for the chapter. These opportunities prepare our students for a successful career.

The Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM) is an organization set out to train our business students on the various human resource practices that are essential to successfully run the HR department within an organization. The LU chapter has been named the nations LARGEST chapter and has not only been successful in numbers, but also in achievements, as the competition teams have won numerous awards and national merit awards.
