School of Music Internships

Completing an internship has never been more important for a graduate seeking employment in the fields of music and worship. The Center for Music and Worship Internships

Liberty University’s Center for Music and Worship holds at its core the desire to train and equip worship leaders for the evangelical community. The Center for Music and Worship students are a part of a movement devoted to teaching God’s people of the twenty-first century how to worship in spirit and truth. The need for students to acquire practical, hands-on experience is a natural extension of the worship degree. An internship is the summit of the student’s preparation and is essential to their development in becoming a minister of the gospel of Jesus Christ.  Students are placed with partner churches to serve alongside the ministry, while further developing their musical, technical, and worship leading skills.

The Center for Music and Performing Arts Internships

The Center for Music & the Performing Arts trains passionate musicians to serve as skilled performers and education professionals by equipping students with the skills necessary to succeed in a variety of commercial and academic markets, secular and sacred. The internship experience helps to prepare graduates to use their gifts and talents in ministry and in secular work, and go on to become teachers, performers, scholars, administrators, church musicians, and more.  Students are placed with professional musical organizations including symphonies, opera companies, and more.
