Dr. Richard M. Jupin is a vocal pedagogue, performer, Kodály music educator, and Alexander Technique practitioner.
Dr. Jupin's vocal studies include working with master vocal pedagogues Stephen Austin, Cornelius Reid, and Thomas Blaylock. Dr. Jupin has coached the worship team at Oak Cliff Bible Fellowship in Dallas, Texas, serving under Pastor Tony Evans. Presently, he serves locally at Heritage Baptist Church. Dr. Jupin has performed multiple times with the Opera on the James and performs regularly on the Liberty University School of Music Faculty Concert Series.
In addition to teaching at Liberty University, Dr. Jupin has served on the faculty at Louisiana Tech University and served for many years as a public school music educator in Plano, Texas and Syracuse, N.Y.
Dr. Jupin's training in the Alexander Technique and The Blaylock Method work together to afford his students the vocal freedom, efficiency, and artistry required to serve as worship leaders for the evangelical community, musical theatre singers for the stage, music educators for our schools, and contemporary vocal artists for the music industry. Capable of meeting the demands of a variety of applications, Dr. Jupin's students are able to perform/serve with a wide portfolio of musical opportunities.
