Church Planting
Mission: To equip the Liberty community to plant churches who will take the Gospel to those dying to hear it.
Church Planting is a part of the Center for Ministry Training. Our desire is to see the Kingdom of God expanded and we believe the best way for this to happen is through church planting. While it may be true that not all of our students are called to plant churches, all of our students are called to share the gospel of Christ in order to expand His Kingdom. We believe this is best done in the context of church planting, which is why our desire is that each of our students would be involved in church planting at some level at some point in their lives.
At LBTS, we desire to be the seminary in the United States that is known for church planting and sending out more and better-equipped church planters each year. Our students are making this a reality today. Not only are LBTS students and graduates planting churches across the United States, but their plants create new churches which ultimately creates a large network of LBTS church plants.
