Honors Program

Prospective Students

Current Students

Are you interested in attending an accredited Christian university where you learn from caring and credentialed faculty in small, Ivy League-sized Honors seminars with intellectually curious classmates who have an average SAT of 1448?

If you participated in Gifted and Talented programs in high school or if you are academically talented and serious about your studies and seek to be appropriately challenged, you should consider the academic enrichment of our Honors Program along with its merit-based scholarships.

If you have an SAT of 1330 (new) or an ACT of 28 (composite) and a high school unweighted GPA of 3.50, or if you have a college GPA of 3.50 and have earned fewer than 60 college credits, you may qualify to apply to our Honors Program (application deadline is March 1). Currently, 740 scholars from 50 states and 20 foreign countries participate in the Honors Program and receive scholarships that range from $4,000 annually to full tuition, room and board (for 83 National Merit Finalists).

Admission to Liberty University's Honors Program is competitive, and enrollment is limited.

Honors Housing

Honors Program students have the opportunity to live in Honors housing. The second floor of Commons 2 has been designated as an Honors floor with approximately 74 female and 54 male beds. Living on the Honors floor is optional and space is limited.
