AFT will provide free bus transportation if there are enough Liberty students wishing to attend. The student price is $39.00, which includes registration and meals. Depending on the number of students and their availability, the bus will leave either Friday afternoon to arrive in time for the kick off banquet Friday night, or early Saturday morning to arrive in time for the first session on Saturday at 9:00 am. The bus will return following the banquet on Saturday night.

REQUIRED ATTENDANCE: GOVERNMENT & CRIMINAL JUSTICE STUDENTS
The Helms School of Government has a unique Convocation each year for Helms School students. This convocation brings students together to hear the vision of the Helms School, learn new opportunities that are available to the you as a student and focus on the year ahead. In 2009 the convocation was set on September 11th, we will take time to not only to remember September 11th but to focus on the task ahead. Students will hear from the Associate Dean, Dr. Stephen Parke. Dr. Parke was involved intimately with the aftermath of September 11th and will share with you those details. Dr. Parke will communicate to you a biblical view for your future endeavors.
Following convocation each of you will have an opportunity to visit display tables set up in the Schilling Center that will provide information in the following areas you may be interested in and want to become involved. Plan to spend a few minutes enjoying refreshments and browsing the displays.
