Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice (B.S.)
Residential Program
The B.S. in Criminal Justice provides a strong foundation of knowledge and skills in a wide variety of criminal justice-related fields. Whether pursuing an entry-level position or currently employed and seeking completion of a four-year degree, students will be equipped to become leaders in their fields.
Academic Information
Credit Hours
- 120 total hours minimum
- 30 hours must be taken through Liberty University
- 50 percent (24 hrs) of major must be taken through Liberty University
- 30 hours of upper-level courses are a required part of the 120 total hours

*Law enforcement personnel who can document successful completion from an accredited police officer school in their state may earn up to 14 credit hours toward their degree. Military experience may also be evaluated for potential college credit. An Academy Program is offered to a student in their last semester of school which would count as 14 credit hours and allow the student to graduate from both the Criminal Justice Program and the Regional Police Academy.
