Dr. Elizabeth Sites is an Associate Professor who teaches courses in Behavior Modification, Psychology of Personality and Group Dynamics. She began working in the Registrar’s Office at Liberty University in 1994 and started teaching in the Psychology Department in 2002. She earned her B.A. in Community Work from Simmons College in Boston, Massachusetts. Both her M.A. and her Ph.D. in Professional Counseling were earned at Liberty.

Dr. Sites holds permanent certification as a Home and School Visitor in Pennsylvania and worked as a school social worker professionally before moving to Lynchburg. She also holds professional membership in the American Association of Christian Counselors (AACC). She has contributed to the community in various capacities such as president of the Cumberland County Association for Children with Learning Disabilities, member of the Special Education task force for West Shore School District, and member of both the World View Think Tank I and II at Liberty University. Dr. Sites’ current research interests focus on the integration of faith and learning and the Biblical/Christian world view.
