Residential Program in Human Performance

Enhance your career opportunities in the health, wellness, and human performance fields. Through the Master of Science in Human Performance degree, you will increase your understanding of exercise science by taking advanced classes in Exercise Physiology and Biomechanical Analysis. All classes are taught from a Christian worldview.

Complete your master’s degree in a traditional two-year format or a one-year accelerated format. Here, you’ll be exposed to material based on concepts from the American College of Sports Medicine (ACSM) and the National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA). Specialize in one of four different cognate areas such as Clinical, Fitness & Wellness, Nutrition, and Strength Training & Conditioning while also completing a capstone experience such as an internship or a thesis.

The M.S. in Human Performance is offered through the Department of Allied Health Professions and is also available online.

Teaching and Research Labs

Utilize the Human Performance Laboratory and the Center for the Analysis of Human Movement Laboratory that house over 5,000 and 3,500 square feet respectively of workspace with state-of-the-art equipment.

In addition, you will have access to the Functional Assessment Laboratory which is outfitted with a variety of functional assessment, strength training, and agility equipment housed within an additional 2,000 square foot area.
