Course Availability & Format

Availability

Most researchers are only required to take a basic training course, however, this can vary greatly depending on the nature of your research, and your department's requirements. Specific CITI courses have been developed for each department, which includes modules specific to the types of research typically conducted.

Format

Each course contains a set of core modules and a set of electives. Each module consists of written material, followed by a short quiz. Training is self-directed, but typically can be finished in less than one day.

CITI Training Cost

Liberty University has partnered with CITI to provide courses free to affiliated individuals. However, there are fees for participants wishing to obtain continuing education credits.
