The Graduate Student Research Symposium is an event for graduate students to display ongoing or completed research studies (e.g., thesis, research paper or project, etc.). It is an opportunity for graduate students to be showcased before an audience of current and prospective students, as well as faculty and administrators.
There will be two parts to the Graduate Student Research Symposium. The first part will be a poster session that will be set up in the atrium of the Jerry Falwell Library. The poster session will provide a forum for students to speak openly with those who are interested in the research. The second part will involve presentations that will be set up in the conference room of the Jerry Falwell Library. Those students, who have completed intense research in a specific area for a thesis, dissertation, etc., will give the presentations.
