Nov. 23-24, 2015 | DeMoss Hall 4046

Monday, Nov. 23, 1-8 p.m. and Tuesday, Nov. 24, 8 a.m. - 4 p.m.

The current global refugee crisis is of the greatest magnitude since WWII. Refugees are migrating from countries such as Syria, Afghanistan, Iraq, Eritrea, as well as many other countries. What does the Bible say about the role of the church in the lives of refugees? What are the dynamics that are causing such a widespread crisis? What issues and challenges are the refugees encountering? What are the impacts upon receiving countries? How can I be involved in helping and praying? These questions and many, many more will be answered at this Global Engagement of Refugees training event. These questions and many more will be answered by Abraham Shepard of Canadian Global Response.
