Light Trips

Spend part of your Christmas, Spring or Summer break immersed in the language, food, scenery and customs of another culture while building relationships with people from around the world. Light Trips offers multiple opportunities every year. Each trip is strategically designed to foster cultural learning, fuel an appreciation for and understanding of the diverse peoples and cultures of our globe, and encourage Liberty University students toward a lifetime of global engagement. Opportunities for academic or CSER credit are also available.

Light Trips facilitates opportunities for students to engage with and learn about other cultures through short-term global service projects and cultural exchange trips. Whether you plan on having a career in the U.S. or working abroad, there is no better way to be equipped to engage a globalizing world than to experience it first-hand.
