Dr. Mark A. Tinsley

Biography:

Dr. Tinsley was born in Staunton, VA and attended a small rural high school in the western part of the Shenandoah Valley (of Virginia).  From there he attended James Madison University in Harrisonburg, VA, where he studied geology and later received a M.S. in physical science/earth science from Emporia State University in Emporia, KS.  Dr. Tinsley also holds three masters degrees and one doctoral degree from Liberty Baptist Theological Seminary in Lynchburg, VA.  His favorite activities are running, reading, and hanging out with friends and family.  When he is not engaged in these activities, he can often be found serving as a chaplain in the Virginia Army National Guard. 

Dr. Tinsley currently resides in Lynchburg, VA, with his wife, Beth, and four children, Luke, Megan, Jack, and Levi.
